A big, woozy, spacey fairy tale with a science-fiction exoskeleton and a core of pure mush.. Thor: The Dark World is a good model of how superheroes can save the world without forced gravitas, and have fun doing it.. Don't even get me started on the aliens, many of whom would have been turned away from the cantina door in Mos Eisley.. In the end, Gladiator is overdrawn and too insubstantial for its own good, just like the old days, but it satisfies as entertainment on a grand scale.. Dancing abo...
